چکیده

Habitat quality is the key to regional ecological restoration and green development, land use change an essential factor affecting habitat quality. Studying spatial temporal evolution characteristics of under multiple scenarios significant for management, preventing future environmental risks. We used improved Logistic-CA-Markov (Logistic-Cellular Automata-Markov) InVEST (Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Trade-offs) models establish patterns in Yellow River Basin from 2000 2040 analyzed changes natural development (S1), protection (S2), urban expansion (S3). The results showed that 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020, main types watershed were dryland grassland, accounting more than 72%. Paddy land, dryland, woodland, middle-coverage unused all decreasing trends, whereas other increasing trends. Influenced by human activities environment, was low, with 80% areas middle low grades, but overall trend rising. variability significant, improvements central northern regions continued deterioration around cities southern western parts. autocorrelation aggregation strong, study area had a relationship activities. Simulation revealed conservation catalytic effects on area, deteriorated This could provide support decisions.

Mediterranean California’s water use future under multiple scenarios of developed and agricultural land use change

With growing demand and highly variable inter-annual water supplies, California's water use future is fraught with uncertainty. Climate change projections, anticipated population growth, and continued agricultural intensification, will likely stress existing water supplies in coming decades. Using a state-and-transition simulation modeling approach, we examine a broad suite of spatially explici...

Uncertainty Investigation of Precipitation and Temperature Scenarios for the Sira Basin under Climate Change Impact

Results of assessment of the future climate change impacts is associated with some uncertainties. Considering the range of uncertainties increases reliability of the results. In this study, climate change impacts on daily precipitation, maximum and minimum temperature of Sira basin are assessed using LARS-WG model, for 2036-65 period. Accordingly, uncertainty of new emissions scenarios (RCP2.6،...

Changes in forest habitat classes under alternative climate and land-use change scenarios in the northeast and midwest, USA

Large-scale and long-term habitat management plans are needed to maintain the diversity of habitat classes required by wildlife species. Planning efforts would benefit from assessments of potential climate and land-use change effects on habitats. We assessed climate and land-use driven changes in areas of closedand open-canopy forest across the Northeast and Midwest by 2060. Our assessments wer...

Investigation of Land Use Change on Physicochemical Characteristics and Soil Erosion in Kaftargar Basin of Behshahr

The land-use change, cutting forest trees and the grasslands conversion to agricultural lands destroyed natural ecosystems and also current or future production capacity reduce and these are harmful effects on the soil physicochemical characteristics. This study taken with aim, checking the role of forest-land change on some soil physical-chemical characteristics and then identify some effectiv...
